Trick or Treat Mug Pie

Happy Halloween!
Hasn't this month just flown by, complete madness!
As a little Halloween treat for you all, I am pleased to introduce my first microwave recipie blog post! Yay for all those who love microwaves as much as I do!
Here's the down low on making a Pumpkin Pie in a mug.
Bits you'll need:
• 3/4 cup of pumpkin purée
• 1 egg yolk
• 1/4 cup milk (you can use heavy cream, I didn't have any because everyone in my house has a cream addiction)
• 1/4 cup sugar
• 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (remember when people used to eat cinnamon for entertainment)
• A pinch of ginger, salt and cloves
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
What you've got to do:
• Mix all the ingredients in a large mug or microwave-able bowl.
• Stick said bowl or mug into the microwave
• Now seeing as all microwaves are different as are our mug pie preferences I suggest you poke your pie every 2 minutes or so with a knife. Ps when the knife comes out clean, your pie is done!
• Cool it off in the fridge or eat it warm. You can later add cream, chocolate chips, ice cream or whatever your heart desires.

I hope you enjoy this recipie and get the chance to try it out!

Missguided Wishlist || Back To Black

It was a white out on the last Wednesdays Wants so its only fair that this week we get back to black.
I'm honestly so much like my mum when it comes to colours. She was a monochrome gal for almost as long as I can remember!
As always I am obsessed with Missguided and there abundance of clothing.
Here's round two for you savvy fashion forward people!

Celina Raglan Curve Hem Jumper Black

Odina Twerk Or Treat Halloween Crop Top Black
Drew Black Ripped Mom Jeans
Alona Gladiator Buckle Sandals
And with that I call round two of my Missguided wishlist to a close. I'm forever going back to black with my clothing.

Mega Matte

We all know how much I love a matte lip. I'm probably the worst person to have a sticky or highly smudge-able lipstick because I will get it in my teeth, on my chin and lord knows where else. Seriously.
Mega Matte Lips* are my new favourite matte babes.
I've been loving the cream lip trend, I promise it's a thing!
W7 have really done well with this one. The wand allows effortless application and you get a fuller lip look without even having to use a lipliner! Saves time and arm ache.
Once it's on the lips it feels nice and creamy whilst being matte which is brilliant because it doesn't dry out your lips and crack by the end of the day. Two coats give you a gorgeous colour and cover.
I used the shade sinful, which is a beautiful Barbie pink colour.
As much a I love the colour, I'm not too persuaded that I can pull it off but I'm definitely looking to get myself some more of these babies.

Friday Favourite || Emma Watson

Okay. We're switching it up a little bit. This weeks Friday Favourites is a person. THE person of the moment.
Actually, Emma Watson's probably been my role model for as long as I can remember.
Blessed are those who got to grow up with the HP trio, Ameneth.
From captivating hearts at age 11, making sure girls new that being clever was the truest of beauty forms to being aged 24 and finally getting the ball rolling for gender equality, especially in the younger generations.
Is there anything she can't do?
The answer is no. She can do everything. I mean, who remembers her Burberry days? Actually, Emma in any photo, even with pixie hair, is just stunning. She's my queen, I am obsessed.
But I honestly really hope she manages to educate people in what true feminism is. I just don't see how we've gotten to this age, where we say we're more accepting than previous generations but act oblivious to gender inequalities. On both sides. It's complete maddness.
Gandhi once said that you must be the change you wish to see in the world.
I know that changing the worlds view isn't going to happen over night but we can start with ourselves for now.

Missguided Wishlist || White Out

I've currently been loving Missguided. They are always bringing out new stuff and honestly it's always so on point. Their pieces provide something for everyone and anyone and I think that's so important because I personally don't think I have one particular style. I'm always trying something new or taking a step, baby step might I add, out of my comfort zone.
I guess you could call this my Missguided Wishlist Part One, That's what I'm calling it anyways!
This weeks Wednesday Wants is all about the WHITE. Monochrome is getting huge this season and I'm beaming because there is nothing more amazing that pairing a little black and white outfit with a bold lip and its berry season! Win, win. Am I right?!
Without further ado, my wishlist..

Sheila Sleeveless Roll Neck Shift Dress Ivory
Tulipe White Sleeveless Lace Hem Top
Moxie Crepe Boyfriend Blazer Cream
Megane White High Waisted Palazzo Trousers

And that was my White Wishlist from Missguided. I hoped you all enjoyed this post.

Lipstick Drama

Although we all, I hope, strive to avoid all forms of drama, sometimes an exception has to be made. And when it comes to make up, who doesn't love to make things a little more dramatic than usual.
I have been loving the Maybelline Color Drama Velvet Lipstick Crayons.
A lot of beauty bloggers have been reviewing these lately and rightly so!
I've had these for about 2 weeks and I haven't touched a proper lipstick in days. Shame on me but what can I say, velvet is what dreams are made of, and, ya know.. other stuff.
I've heard these be compared to the Nars lip pencils and honestly they look pretty much the same. Except Maybelline have made there's shorter, yet chunkier. Maybe that's so you don't loose product even with the reduced height? And we all know that great things come in short packages. I see what you did there Maybelline. Good on you.
Also price wise these cost a total of £4.99! Yes I typed rightly. Less than a fiver. That's what 1/3 of the Nars price. You could get 3 for the price of 1! I'm using my extremely high pitched squeaky excited voice as I type this!
These are surprisingly pigmented, I was honestly not expecting the colour to come out so nicely when I first tried them out. The colour is easily buildable and they last almost all day. With zero bleeding and rare smudging.
My only complaint would be that I don't have a sharper of that size. Oh and that its spelt colour. Come on..
Have any of guys tried these? Or do you have any recommended lip crayon/pencil type thingys?

Candle Queen

Anyone who knows me, knows I'm a sucker for candles. Big candles, small candles, candles that sing my favourite show tunes and more. I am a hoarder.
I can't help it.
Candles are just so god damn cute!
I find them perfect for when I need to calm down quickly or its been a long day and I just want to chill for a bit or if I want to spice up my bath time, inserts cheeky side smirk emoji, and of course you the practical if there's a black out and all the torches in the house decide to runaway to somewhere brighter and better.
There's something about the way the flame flicks and the shadows they cast make me so happy and content!
My love is divided between Yankee Candles and the Lily-Flame candles. I honestly have way more than I need. Like I recently went a bit mad and order 30 candles. Yeah, we all know what my friends are getting for Christmas this year. Oops.
I'm not sure if this is weird or not, but I actually prefer the mini Yankee's than the large ones and I love the wax tarts even more! The reason I personally love the mini's is that, they have a surprisingly long burn life and I find that you can have a few going in different parts of your room rather than one main one, and it'll still smell heavenly and well the wax tarts are just adorable, and you can get some pretty amazing wax burners!
I'm so excited for my candles to get here now. I'm looking forward to smelling the Lily-Flame Christmas and autumn candles! The Christmas Pudding one sounds so amazing. Why is it still October!
What's your favourite candle and scent? Let me know in the comments so I can try them out!

Music Mondays || Who's KR?

I love twitter. So much. Even though it has NO CHILL, like what's so ever. It's over flowing with talent, whether that be musicians, dancers, film makers or the awful comedians who lets face it, we all love a bit of at 3am, yes I'm referring to that person who is constantly retweeting memes, like, who even are you?..
Okay I need to stop myself before I end up doing a the types of people on twitter post.
I came across KR, better known as WhoKR - you can find him here on Twitter, earlier last year and I listened to his Mixtape and I was shocked. Because lets face it, music starting to get generic and there's only so many songs that you can stomach before you need something new. And he had new, plenty of it.
He reminds me of a mix of Chance The Rapper and Kid Ink, which is pretty sick if you ask me, not because I think all 3 are majorly attractive and should just be attractive together or anything. Fine, it might be a tiny factor.
I remember tweeting him to tell him I think he was going to blow up soon and quiet frankly, he's got that shit down, but he was so humble and sweet about it.
Plus I don't think there is any artist, ever, who constantly thanks their supporters like he does. Lets not forget he has the ability to write something in 140 characters that gets your mind thinking. Drake style thinking.
We're now on his 3rd Mixtape I$0lyf3 3, download it here, and he's got his first headlining show coming up and I'm so happy for him. He truly deserves it all and more. I feel like the music industry now especially needs genuine and you don't get more genuine that music written for us, by one of us!
Make sure you check out KR on twitter and download his Mixtape. It'll be the best thing you've done all year. I promise.
Is there  any new music/artist you've been loving? Tweet me them!

To Knit Or To Not

Maisie Turtle Neck Batwing Rib Jumper
Lola Slash Neck Fisherman Jumper
Rowie Moss Stich Lightweight Jumper
It's that time of year when everyone's bringing out the big scarf. You know that kind of itches your neck but you wear it anyways because it doubles as a blanket and well you may be uncomfortable but at least you can take a nap in class. All is well and fair in the universe.
Well I have a confession. I've never been a knitwear girl. Now I know how to knit if that's any consolation but I'm just more of a crew neck than a cross stich wearer.
As much as I love the look of knit cardigans and jumpers, I have just never seemed to have purchased anything of the sort. Totally weird, I know.
But this is the season of change. I have decided to leap like a rheindeer, I know it's October don't be a grinch okay, out of my extremely comfortable comfort zone and get my wool game on.
I really need an oversized knit cardigan! They just look so comfy and warm. Also I just think it's time to say bye to my leather jacket! Honestly they are such seasonal staples that it would a horrendous tragic winter if I didn't indulge and get myself multiple knit goodies.
From fitted crop tops to baggy and oversized pull overs, you can stay warm and chic. Could you possible want anything more!
I'm totally obsessed with Boohoo's knitwear collection. I've posted my top 4 favourites above, with links and all!
Can I just mention I don't think I've ever used the word knit so many times in one go. Enjoy.
Do you knit or not? Let me know!

Blame it on September

Am I the only who felt September flew by? And its already a week into October. Any way's, I'll be list the top trends of September 2014 because I feel like we had a few good-uns. Enjoy my lovelies.
Kellyana Mesh Skater Dress Black
Mesh became really popular over the course of September. The craze went from shorts to shirts and back. I love this dress from Missguided available here.
Milani Baked Blushes
It was Milani madness in the blogosphere this past month. These baked beauties definitely took the spot light and rightly so. A must have for any makeup bag!

Psychobabble icon
Tyler Oakley did that! It's team internet, it got to number one, it's Tyler Freaking Oakley, come on how could I not mention it! Download and say goodbye to your virgin ears here.
I'm going to stick to 3 because well the list is endless. I wonder what October has in store for us. I'm most excited about the candles and knit wear. Oh how I love this time of year.

Zoella for President!

If you don't know who Zoe Sugg is by now then well you clearly don't know how to use the internet.
Zoe, or known to us internetlings better as Zoella, is a blogger/vlogger/YouTube extraordinaire and she doesn't stop there, she's adding more to the list and we're loving it.
I guess this post is just to show my absolute love for her and she honestly deserves everything going for her right now.
Yeah it's another Team Internet post but she's just launched her own line of beauty bits, she has a book coming out and she was in British Vogue. V-O-G-U-E. Be still my heart.
I remember coming across Zoe's blog when I was younger and it is honesty quite weird cause I've grown reading and watching her and it's like I've known her for years without really knowing her? Creepy stalker status I know, I cant help it. She's just one of those people that inspires girls, no age limit, and really teaches them to accept themselves. Although she suffers from anxiety, she does her best to make sure this doesn't stop her, or her 6 million subscribes from following their dreams.
Zozeebo's Zoella Beauty launch was named beauty launch of the year and she managed to sell out of everything online within a couple of hours. As Tyler Oakley would put it, the people of the internet are really something.
People still have a refined outlook of the internet and believe that we really can't achieve anything on it, but these are the people they should be watching.
Zoella has empowered so many young adults. We have grown with her. For heavens sake she teaches that spots give your face characteristics and that you don't have to wear make up 24/7 and that eyebrows are SISTERS not TWINS. If she isn't your role model then you must have the Queen on speed dial cause this girl is just gold.
I'm going to say too much about her Zoella Beauty products, which you can order here, or here book Girl Online, which you can pre-order here, as I'll be doing a review for both. But I will mention how proud I am of her. Not only has made this journey her own personal one but she's open doors for bloggers and vloggers everywhere.
Zoe's definitely my woman crush Wednesday, even though it's Tuesday. That's how much I love her.

Lancôme Love

I'm going to admit it, I have an bizarre obsession with collecting bronzers. I have more than I need, yet I still find myself buying new beauties and actually getting through them pretty quickly. Browns girls have to stay bronzed aye.
My most purchased make up product has to be bronzer, and I mean it. I haven't even brought that many bottles of Collection Lasting Perfection, so I guess I need help, but I'm not changing for nobody. This however brings me to my new love. The Lancôme Star Bronzer Sensual Bronzing Powder. Don't ask I didn't come up with the name, just deal with it.
I actually brought this a while ago and forgot all about it, so it doesn't count as an addition as I already unknowingly had it in my collection, I'm going with that. It's as good as it gets.
I got it from Debenhams but it seems to be discontinued on the website as well as the Lancôme website but you can find an similar one here.
I came across this whilst cleaning out my make up draw and oh my did I fall in love. Its such a beautiful colour with the most perfect shine to it.
You can use it lightly as a highlight or go all out with it, it doesn't matter as its just so versatile. The shimmer doesn't make you look glittery and cause major fall out like some but just leaves you looking healthy and glowing.
Also its really well pigmented so a sweep goes a long way. I've been using this for a while and it barely looks touched. So worth the price seeing how long it's probably going to last me.
I'm kind of sad that I hadn't discovered this before as its probably too light to transition into autumn but for the moment were having lovely sunny in-between weather, so I'll hopefully get to use it a few more times till I switch it up again.

On Fridays We Blog

It's October 3rd and you know what that means. It's the 276th day of the year and there's only 89 more days of 2014. Oh and um todays the day when Aaron Samuels asked Cady Heron what day it was.
A round of applause for everyone who has caught on to my drift, but if you're having a slow day, it's national Mean Girls day!
In honour of LiLo's compelling acting skills and famous word vomit, I'm going to list my favourite chick flicks. I feel disgusted that I just said chick flicks twice. Oh well, I like movies and I like lists, excuse me whilst I sob.

Beauty and the Berries

It's that time of year when we're all wandering around superdrug to find that perfect berry shaded lipstick for the season ahead.
I'm not going to lie, it's a tough process, I mean, you've got to take brands, packaging, undertones, portability and much more into consideration before walking down the sacred queue to the till.
Now if you're like me, you'll end up making this trip about 3 times as I can never stick to one shade and autumn is a perfect excuse to treat your lips. Come on, if you think about it, everyone wants their lipstick to kind of, not really, match nature and its beauty. Yeah, I couldn't think of a better excuse to buy multiple lipsticks, beauty blogger logic for you.
My first picked plum lipstick is the Beauty UK lipstick, in shade 17 Plumalicious.
I have seriously been loving this lipstick. You can find it here.
It packs a punch, the photo really doesn't do it justice! It goes on a deep purple and smells like methanol, and it reminds me of candy canes and all things wintery.
It's extremly moisturising, and if you blot really lightly, it goes a pretty matte pinky purple shade.
Oh and a bonus it doesn't dry out your lips and it stays on for a super long time. I managed to eat a McDonalds without it budging.
A tip for the wise though, the lipstick comes with a unscrewable pot, I use this and a lip brush to line my lips as it does tend to bleed a bit, and I haven't found a lip liner that I've liked to go with it, but as with most berry shaded lipsticks, they tend to get a little messy so I would definitely recommend a lip liner unless you want to look like you're having an allergic reaction. Yes, seriously. No lip liner, no plum lips. It's a rule ladies and gents. Side note Emma Watson works gender equality and berry shades perfectly, sigh.
What berry shade lipsticks are you loving? Let me know so I can expand my collection.
Side note part 2: thank you Meela for the post inspiration. Let her know your autumn must have lip colours in the comments!
